Friends and patients of Walkrite, the Jayaswal family (Vikash and Madhurita and their children Tarranum (14) and Vivaan (10)), are undertaking a mighty challenge to trek to Everest Basecamp to raise money for the school they have founded in India to educate under-privileged children.
They are doing this in recognition of the importance of education in a child’s life and the impact a good education can have on someone’s future.
They have faced their own problems with pain and injury over the years which we have helped with in our own small way but they have been training very seriously for this undertaking, which is a once in a lifetime family opportunity.
They recently appeared on ITV to explain more about the reasons behind their trip which you can view by clicking here and you can learn more about their aim to raise £50,000 for their foundation here. We wish them the best of luck for the trip and the future!
